Celiac Society is committed to ensuring the privacy of our members.
We will only use members information to tell you about future events,
if you choose to receive such announcements. Furthermore, we will not sell
or exchange names or any other information about our online members. We will not
collect, share or sell any information that is not addressed in this statement.
Registration
During registration a user is asked to give their contact information (such as
name and email address). We use this information to contact you regarding your
order. User's billing and shipping information is not requested during registration.
Billing
information will automatically be saved to the profile upon checkout. Shipping information
will be entered during checkout.
Orders
We request information on the order form when you are placing an order on our site.
Here we ask for contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial
information (credit card number and expiration date). The information is used for
billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing an order,
this contact information is used to get in touch with you.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about
the user. Celiac Society only uses a cookie to store your email address and login information,
so that we can auto-detect a returning user to the site. Cookies are used to let users auto-login.
Cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.
We use IP addresses to track only aggregate information regarding site traffic. We do not
collect any personal information via a user's IP address.
